SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota County Schools have again been named an Academically High-Performing School District for 2025–26 by the Florida State Board of Education, a designation that recognizes strong academic results, compliance with class-size rules and solid financial practices.
In addition to the districtwide honor, 17 district-managed schools earned the state’s School of Excellence designation for sustained high academic performance compared with schools across Florida.
