NOKOMIS, Fla. (WWSB) – A Nokomis man received 12 months probation for driving his father’s boat while drunk and underage, injuring his friend in a propeller accident.
Luka Muscaro, now 21, took a plea deal with prosecutors and pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of boating under the influence. The sentence was handed down Wednesday morning.
Investigators said Muscaro was behind the wheel of the boat at the H2O Music Festival near Boca Grande in May 2025. He was repositioning the boat with several others when one of his friend’s legs got caught in the propeller…
