SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota and Manatee counties are giving residents ways to report suspected violations as drought-related water restrictions remain in effect across the Suncoast.
Sarasota County has an online, “Report a Water Violation” form through Public Utilities. The form asks for the address of the reported violation, the date, the time in military format, additional details and optional photos or documents.
In Manatee County, residents can report suspected violations through the Manatee 311 app, by calling Manatee 311 or by contacting the county’s Code Enforcement Division, according to county officials.
