SARASOTA, Fla. — Sarasota police are investigating the death of a child found unresponsive Monday morning in the Newtown area.
County dispatchers received a call around 8 a.m. about a child who was not responding on Dixie Avenue near Dr. Martin Luther King Way.
Officers and paramedics worked to revive the child before transporting them to Sarasota Memorial Hospital, where they later died. Sarasota police say they’re not sharing the child’s age or gender as the investigation is ongoing…
