MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – Manatee County Habitat for Humanity opened applications Tuesday for its Affordable Homeownership Program, offering qualified buyers a chance to move into ready-to-sell townhomes.
Applications opened at 10 a.m. Tuesday and will remain open until further notice. Qualified buyers could move into ready-to-sell townhomes instead of homes still under construction.
“This is our first time, and if it goes really well, we look forward to doing it again,” a representative said. “But right now, because of the crisis, we’re trying to get as many families into homes. So, this particular application cycle is just for our parish townhomes.”…
