BRADENTON, Fla. — Circle K confirmed that seven gas stations in southwest Florida had fuel issues, prompting a temporary suspension of sales at those locations. Now, a spokesperson says they are evaluating car troubles reported by several customers who gassed up.
A spokesperson with Circle K told 10 Tampa Bay News that the following stations were impacted by fuel quality issues:
- 2925 1st St E, Bradenton, FL 34208
- 17170 San Carlos Blvd, Ft Myers Beach, FL 33931
- 9951 Orange River Blvd, Ft Myers, FL 33905
- 14362 Palm Beach Blvd, Ft Myers, FL 33905
- 9001 Rolfes Rd, Ft Myers, FL 33966
- 1181 Homestead Rd N, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936
- 11161 Tamiami Trail, Punta Gorda, FL 33955
“At Circle K, we stand behind the quality of our fuels, but issues can sometimes arise. For this particular case, a fuel quality issue from a third-party supplier impacted multiple fuel retailers in the area,” the spokesperson said. “As soon as we became aware of the situation, we suspended fuel sales at these sites while the affected storage tanks were emptied, cleaned and replenished with fresh fuel. We have resumed normal operations following the necessary testing that confirmed full remediation.”
