Teen Shot Outside Bronx Building as Gunman Escapes

BRONX, N.Y. — A 16-year-old boy was shot in the arm outside a Bronx building earlier this month, and the gunman remains at large as New York City police continue their search for the suspect. The shooting occurred in front of 1015 East Gun Hill Road and left the teenager wounded after a suspect allegedly opened fire before fleeing the area on foot.

The NYPD is now asking the public to help identify the shooter.

Teen Wounded in Broad-Daylight Shooting

According to NYPD Crime Stoppers, the shooting occurred at approximately 6:16 p.m. on Monday, May 18, within the confines of the 47th Precinct.
