Late Tuesday night, a 43-year-old man sitting behind the wheel of his car in the Bronx suddenly found himself staring down the barrel of a gun, police said. The armed stickup unfolded at about 11:25 p.m. at Carter Avenue and East 173rd Street, within the confines of the NYPD’s 44th Precinct, when a suspect walked up to the driver’s side, demanded the man’s property and his vehicle, then drove off in the car heading eastbound on East 173rd Street.
