Duo arrested after string of skills machine break-ins, thefts around Clearfield

CLEARFIELD, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Clearfield woman and a New York man were arrested early Saturday morning after police were called to multiple break-ins at skills machine rooms.

Clearfield Regional Police arrived at the scene — Rainbow 3 Carwash — May 30, to find the suspects, later identified as Sydney Hellen Peteuil, 25, and Seth Daniel Bourlier, 24, running from the building. The two got on a motorcycle with New York plates and took off, sparking a high-speed chase that reached speeds of over 70 miles per hour.

Peteuil and Bourlier were taken into custody after losing control of the motorcycle and landing in a grassy area at the Mt Joy Cemetery. According to police, tools and cash were found in their possession…
