A routine grocery run in Concourse Village ended in a trip to the hospital after a 76-year-old man was punched in the face inside a busy Bronx supermarket, police said.
The NYPD is looking for a man who allegedly attacked the shopper inside the Food Bazaar on East 161st Street on Thursday, leaving the victim with cuts to his face before running off on foot.
According to News12 Bronx, investigators say the suspect confronted the 76-year-old around 12:30 p.m., got into a verbal dispute with him, then struck him in the face, causing lacerations.
