FLATIRON, Manhattan (PIX11) — A restaurant credited with raising the bar for fine dining in New York City will serve its final meal this month.
After 25 years, Craft by “Top Chef” judge Tom Colicchio, will close in Flatiron on June 27, according to a social media post from the celebrity chef on Wednesday.

Colicchio cited lease costs as the reason for the flagship’s closing, especially in a neighborhood that’s become known as “New York’s restaurant gold coast.”
“New York has changed much in this quarter of a century and it is time to make way for new experiments and new ideas that can compete in today’s attention economy and allow me the creative space top always grow,” read Colicchio’s post.
