State police seek new leads in 1991 Union County homicide of New York taxi driver

WHITE DEER TWP., UNION CO. (WOLF) — Pennsylvania State Police are renewing efforts to solve a more than three-decade-old homicide in Union County and are asking the public for information.

According to investigators, the body of an unidentified man was discovered Jan. 10, 1992, in a drainage ditch near Interstate 80 in White Deer Township. The victim was found at the base of a wooded, rock-covered hillside about 30 feet north of the westbound lanes of the interstate.

An autopsy determined the man died from a gunshot wound to the head…
