BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) — A man from New York was arrested after law enforcement agencies investigated a scam that reportedly involved a senior citizen in West Virginia.
According to a post on the Bluefield, WV Police Department’s Facebook page, Ren Xin Huang, of Flushing, Queens, New York, was arrested for reported involvement in a scam that involved a local senior citizen.
The post stated that an investigation was started after the victim allegedly got a phone call from people who pretended to be federal agents on March 23, 2026.
