THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — Two people, including a 79-year-old bystander, were shot in the Bronx on Wednesday afternoon, police and sources said.
The shooting happened near University Avenue and West 183rd Street in Fordham at around 1:23 p.m., according to the NYPD.
A 26-year-old man and a 79-year-old woman were each shot in the left leg, police said. The woman appeared to be an innocent bystander, sources said.
It was unclear if the man was the intended target or what sparked the gunfire…
