Man slashed in the neck at Knicks parade: NYPD

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A 20-year-old man was slashed in the neck with a broken glass bottle near the Knicks ticker-tape celebration in Manhattan on Thursday, police said.

The man was attacked near 1 Centre St. at around 11:50 a.m., according to the NYPD. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The victim allegedly said something inappropriate to a woman, and her boyfriend came to her defense, sources said. It was unclear what was said.
