Police are asking for the public’s help tracking down a man wanted in connection with a stabbing in the Bronx last weekend, after what started as a verbal dispute turned violent at a neighborhood corner.
According to investigators, on Saturday, June 20 at about 7:26 p.m., a 27-year-old man was at the northeast corner of Valentine Avenue and East 187th Street when he got into a verbal dispute with another man. During that clash, the victim was stabbed in the right arm. The attacker, described only as an unidentified male, then took off, heading southbound on Valentine Avenue.
The case is featured in a “Wanted for an Assault” bulletin posted by NYPD Crime Stoppers on June 26. That alert includes images detectives hope will help put a name to the face and notes that the suspect displayed a knife before the stabbing and ran from the scene afterward…
