Spectators delighted as parade of tall ships sails up the Hudson River to celebrate America 250

Hundreds of people gathered at Pier 84 along the Hudson River on Saturday to watch tall ships sail past and fighter jets streak across the sky as part of a celebration marking the nation’s 250th birthday.

Spectators from across the country lined the waterfront, taking in the ship parade and aerial demonstrations while photographing dozens of vessels from other countries participating in the celebration of America’s founding.
