CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man died after a firework exploded and struck his head during a July 4 party in New York.
Suffolk County police said Gabriel Ruiz‑Urresto, 37, was lighting a firework in the backyard of his home around 9:30 p.m. when it exploded and struck him in the head.
