It was announced on Friday that weather reporter Liv Johnson is moving on from Fox 5 New York.
Johnson, who previously worked as a weather anchor for CBS47, joined Fox 5 New York in February 2024. She has become quite popular on social media, racking up over 150,000 Instagram followers.
“Although a native of Atlanta, Georgia, Liv has roots in the Northeast. Her mom is from Long Island and her dad is from Bergen County, New Jersey,” her bio for FOX 5 New York states. “Liv is a proud graduate of Syracuse University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Broadcast & Digital Journalism and a B.A. in Psychology. She is currently studying meteorology through Pennsylvania State University. When she’s not working, Liv likes to find the best restaurants in New York City and to travel with her rescue dog Milo.”
