Two New York suburbs rank among nation’s top three wealthiest

Two Lower Hudson Valley suburbs rank among the most affluent in the United States, according to a recent analysis.

MoneyLion ranked the nation’s 50 most affluent suburbs by median household income using 2024 American Community Survey data. The ranking includes communities with at least 5,000 households that qualify as suburbs of larger metropolitan areas.

Topping the list was a community just north of New York City. While no two suburbs are the same, two of the nation’s three most affluent communities are located in Westchester County, roughly 25 to 30 miles north of Manhattan.
