NYC man who made thousands of ‘false’ 911 calls over racially- charged crimes may soon learn fate: cops

A bonkers Bronx man has cried wolf thousands of time – sometimes placing more than 25 bogus emergency calls a day to 911 – and could face criminal charges soon, The Post has learned.

Yuri Kharlamov, 54, allegedly used multiple phones to place 4,543 calls to 911 in the Bronx’s 46 Precinct from March 9, 2023, to July 18, according to case documents.

In the calls, he repeatedly “knowingly and falsely reported the occurrence of serious crimes and emergency incidents,” including “kidnappings, assaults, violent rapes, children having been shot in the head and other reports of imminent danger to human life,” according to the NPYD documents.
