A new affordable housing lottery has opened for three two-bedroom apartments at 7910 Fourth Ave., a six-story residential building in Bay Ridge. The apartments are available to households earning 130 % of the area median income through the city’s NYC Housing Connect program, according to New York YIMBY.
Developed by MingJi Ave4 Realty LLC, the building contains 15 residences. The three available apartments have a monthly rent of $2,650, with eligible household incomes ranging from $99,738 to $238,160. Applicants must also meet the program’s household-size requirements to qualify.
The lottery gives eligible Brooklyn residents another opportunity to access newly developed housing in Bay Ridge, where renters continue to face high housing costs.
