A 35-year-old man from South Carolina was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly stole a plastic jar containing $50 from children running a lemonade stand in Bergen County, authorities said.
The children told police they were operating their business at the corner of Boulevard and Raymond Street in Hasbrouck Heights when a man approached, stole their money and took off on foot.
“This brought all available Hasbrouck Heights patrol officers and detectives into the area for the search,” Patrol Captain John Behr said in a statement…
