QUEENS (PIX11) — Multiple officers were assaulted at Rikers Island on Saturday, according to the FDNY.
EMS were called to 1600 Hazen St. at Rikers Island just after 12:45 p.m. for a report of four members of the service who were injured, a spokesperson for the FDNY said.

The four officers were taken to a hospital in Queens, though their conditions were not immediately made known.
