An Upstate New York airport is receiving $32 million for upgrades that will modernize it. WBNG reports the Greater Binghamton Airport will receive the funds from a portion of New Gov. Kathy Hochul’s $230 million Upstate Airport Economic Development & Revitalization Competition. The total cost of the Broome County project, expected to create more than 600 jobs, is estimated at $53.9 million.
