A staff member at a New York nursing home faces criminal charges after allegedly spitting on and striking a 91-year-old resident, according to New York State Police.
Nashecka K. Moodie, 36, of the Bronx, was arrested following an incident at Paramount at Somers Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on April 25, 2026. State police responded to the facility on State Route 100 at approximately 11:30 p.m. after receiving a report of an incident between a staff member and a resident.
