A 9-year-old boy died after he was hit by a private school bus in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.

On Friday, May 1, Yoel Jacobowitz was fatally struck by a private yeshiva bus that was turning from Lee Avenue onto Lorimer Street in Brooklyn around 8:15 a.m. local time, according to the New York City Police Department and a news release shared by city council member Lincoln Restler.
