A routine wait for the subway turned violent Friday afternoon when a 50-year-old man was stabbed in the left arm on the southbound 6 train platform at the Longwood Avenue station in the Bronx, police said. The attacker approached during a dispute on the platform, pulled a knife, stabbed the victim and then took off from the station, according to investigators. Authorities later released surveillance images and asked the public to help identify the suspect.
