Firefighters, EMT injured in Bronx grocery store fire: FDNY

MOTT HAVEN, Bronx (PIX11) — At least three people were injured in a fire that broke out at a grocery store in the Bronx on Wednesday morning, according to the FDNY.

An EMT and two firefighters were taken to the hospital while battling the fire at 2592 Third Ave. around 5:03 a.m., the FDNY said.

As many as 141 fire and EMS personnel responded to the incident at the two-story building that houses a grocery store on the first floor, fire officials reported.
