New York City serial killer murdered 3 by entering homes as repair man

A Brooklyn man who murdered three elderly women in their apartments has been sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.

The office of Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced the sentencing of 71-year-old Brownsville resident Kevin Gavin on Wednesday. Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Dineen Riviezzo issued the sentence after Gavin pleaded guilty on April 24 to one count of first-degree murder and three counts of second-degree murder.
