STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — With the June 1 deadline just weeks away, New York City residents may be scrambling to purchase a new required NYC trash bin.
The new bins will be mandated for residential buildings with one to nine units — including one- and two-family homes, nonprofits and city agencies — by June 1, according to the city Department of Sanitation.
