Long Island Railroad commuters will no longer have to deal with suspended train services after the MTA and LIRR worker union bosses reached a deal Monday evening.
The deal ended a three-day-long railroad strike that left LIRR commuters reliant on shuttle buses to subway stations for their weekday commutes. Approximately 250,000 commuters are reliant on the LIRR.
