The NYPD is asking for help identifying a man who stabbed a passenger multiple times during a verbal dispute on a 2 train at the 96th Street station early last week.
The attack happened around 1:50 a.m. on Monday, May 11, when a 57-year-old man aboard a northbound 2 train was approached by another rider who began arguing with him, according to police. The suspect pulled out a sharp instrument and stabbed the victim multiple times in the abdomen.
The victim got off the train at the 96th Street station and was taken by EMS to Mount Sinai Morningside, where he was listed in stable condition. The suspect remained on the train and exited at the 125th Street-Lenox Avenue station, fleeing to parts unknown…
