A Georgia man allegedly confessed to a killing in New Jersey more than three decades later, soon after first sharing the secret with a pastor.

Joseph Quiros-Soto, 62, was arrested last week in connection to the fatal shooting of 48-year-old Mauricio Cuadra in August 1989, in Bayonne, N.J., the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.

The killing occurred after an unknown man broke into Cuadra’s Bayonne home on Aug. 9, 1989, prosecutors said; Cuadra was pronounced dead soon thereafter…
