NEW YORK (PIX11) — Drivers going through some of the bridges and tunnels in New York City may need to watch their speed.
Speed cameras were activated on Wednesday in construction zones on bridges and tunnels that are operated by the MTA.

The cameras will record vehicles going more than 10 mph above the posted speed limit in active construction zones. Vehicle owners will face warnings or fines as a result.
