The NYPD said three teens are recovering after they were beaten and stabbed during a brazen attack behind DeWitt Clinton High School on Thursday, June 18. They said five masked assailants are being sought in connection with the incident. It is not the first slashing to take place on the campus.
According to the NYPD, the attack was reported in a 911 call at 2:16 p.m. on June 18 and the location given was behind the school, which is located at 100 West Mosholu Parkway South in Bedford Park.
A police spokesperson told Norwood News, “Upon arrival of police to the scene, a preliminary investigation determined that five males, all wearing black ski masks, assaulted three victims causing serious physical injuries.”
The spokesperson said a 17-year-old male was stabbed once in the torso, a second 17-year-old male suffered a laceration to the top of his head and bruising to the back, and the third victim, a 19-year-old male was stabbed in the lower back. Police said all three young men were transported by EMS to area hospitals “conscious and alert.”…
