A mother’s heartbreaking words are capturing the unimaginable grief left behind after her daughter was shot and killed while driving home from work in New York.

“My heart felt like it was going to come out,” Beverly Patterson told Eyewitness News as she recalled learning that her 39-year-old daughter, Julia Anderson, had been fatally gunned down in the Wakefield section of the Bronx.
