Just before 3 a.m. Tuesday, a 40-year-old woman was slashed in Brownsville and rushed to a hospital, authorities said, rattling a quiet stretch near Livonia and Snediker avenues.
FDNY units responded to the scene and transported the victim to a medical center for treatment. Police have not yet released details on her condition or said whether anyone is in custody.
According to News 12 New York, the FDNY reported the slashing and confirmed the victim was taken to the hospital. The outlet said its reporters reached out to the NYPD for comment, but no additional information was immediately available in the early update.
