GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (WNYT)- Guilderland police said a woman was arrested after officers say she tried to use a fake ID to take money from another person’s bank credit line.
Officers were called to NBT Bank at 5 New Karner Road on Wednesday, July 29, at about 3:04 p.m. after bank workers reported a woman was trying to impersonate someone else to get funds from that person’s home equity line of credit account, according to the Guilderland Police Department.
Police said officers met Anna Hardee, 47, of New York City at the scene and found she had a fraudulent New York State driver’s license with the victim’s identifying information. Police said Hardee was trying to withdraw $38,000 from the victim’s account…
