Jersey City man, 25, arrested for fatally shooting man, 38, in domestic dispute

A 25-year-old Jersey City man has been arrested for fatally shooting a 38-year-old man in a domestic dispute on Tuesday evening, Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello announced.

Jalil Harley, 25, of Jersey City, is charged with murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon, Mello said in a statement.

He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
