The team behind Dame is bringing its famed fish and chips to the East Village with a new standalone concept.
Chippy’s, co-owned by Patricia Howard, Ed Szymanski and partner Evan Baldwin, will open at 21 E. 7th St., between 2nd and 3rd avenues, according to business filings.
The team brings extensive experience across New York’s food and hospitality industries. Szymanski earned recognition as a Food & Wine Best New Chef and a James Beard Foundation nominee. Howard brings experience in restaurant operations, events and marketing, while Baldwin draws on his background in hospitality finance, hotel revenue management and restaurant operations…
