Flooding causes road closures and subway delays across New York City

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Some New York City roads are experiencing delays and closures due to flooding, according to the New York City Office of Emergency Management.

Certain subway lines are also partially suspended and experiencing severe delays, according to the MTA.

Severe thunderstorms and flash flooding are expected to affect parts of New York City and New Jersey, according to the National Weather Service.
