The 50-year-old woman who was killed when she was run over by a dump truck while driving a Joco e-bike on in Herald Square on Sept. 28 has been identified by police.
It apparently took an extended period of time to track down a next of kin for the victim, Jana Gwen Halterman, whose name was released on Oct. 9, eleven days after the fatal accident.
]She was killed around 10:50 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, as she and the theading West on 34th St. just before Seventh Ave. Her address was given as 8 E. 109th St. in East Harlem, which is the address of NY Common Pantry, which provides food and nutrition for low income people but is not a homeless shelter…
