NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) — Another person has died in New York City custody on Rikers Island, according to the Department of Corrections.
Clarence Woodward, 41, was found having a medical emergency at the Robert N Davoren Center, officials said. He was declared dead at 5:40 a.m. Tuesday.

It’s the seventh such death this year, and the second in one week.
