Prior felon accused of using counterfeit $100 bills for purchases in Livingston County

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, N.Y. — A Brooklyn man with prior felony convictions is facing charges after being accused of using fake bills to buy various items in Livingston County.

Nicholas Hendricks, 33, is charged with three counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, three counts of scheme to defraud, three counts of conspiracy, and three counts of petit larceny.

Livingston County Sheriff’s deputies say last October, they were contacted by two separate businesses in the towns of Springwater and Nunda for possible fraud. Investigators say it is believed Hendricks used counterfeit $100 bills to buy various items at both businesses…
