NYPD recruit arrested on Staten Island for stolen property charges

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A police recruit was arrested on Staten Island and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, according to the NYPD.

Kyle Sanchez, 23, was taken into custody around 2:40 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 in the 121st Precinct, the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information wrote in a statement.
