State police find over 16,000 envelopes of fentanyl and heroin during traffic stop

Albany, NY (WRGB) — Prosecutors say a traffic stop by New York State Police stops a major drug shipment from New York City from reaching the streets of the Capital Region.

An indictment reveals on March 1, during a traffic stop by New York State Police at 7:42 p.m. on Washington Avenue Extension, 16,5000 glassine envelopes filled with fentanyl and heroin were found in the car.
