Housing Lottery Launches for 1427 Fulton Street in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1427 Fulton Street, a nine-story residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by RKTB Architects and developed under the 1427 Fulton Street Inc., the structure yields 26 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are three units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $87,840 to $227,500.

Apartments feature energy-efficient appliances, washers and dryers, air conditioning, intercoms, smart controls for heating and cooling, patios or balconies, and name-brand kitchen countertops and finishes. Amenities include online payment options, an on-site laundry room, dog park and dog washing station, and a backyard. Tenants are responsible for electricity, including stove, heat, and hot water.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there is one studio with a monthly rent of $2,350 for incomes ranging from $87,840 to $176,410; one one-bedroom with a monthly rent of $2,700 for incomes ranging from $102,172 to $198,510; and one two-bedroom with a monthly rent of $3,080 for incomes ranging from $120,480 to $238,160.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 22, 2026.
