New Bills stadium expected to receive temporary certificate of occupancy Monday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — As the old Highmark stadium comes down, the new home of the Buffalo Bills is expected to hit a milestone moment next week by receiving a temporary certificate of occupancy.

According to a spokesperson for Erie County, DPW Commissioner Bill Geary is expected to issue the certificate Monday.

“We were here on day one when this stadium opened,” Bills fan Maryann Cave said. “I’m so excited to also be in the new stadium on day one as well.”…
