LOCKPORT, N.Y. — Ten cats were removed from a Niagara County home after authorities discovered that the two adults who lived there were listed on the Animal Abuse Registry and were prohibited by court order from possessing animals.
The names of the two people were not provided by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, whose Investigation Bureau worked with the Niagara SPCA on the investigation.
The investigation focused on the people living at 7555 Bulmore Road in Lockport. Officials determined that both adults were on the Animal Abuse Registry and each had court orders that “denied them from having animals.”…
